What Does the Program Cost?

California residents pay the regular Community College enrollment fee for London Semester courses. Students who do not qualify as residents pay non-resident tuition, as they would at their local community college.

$8,375 (FIAP Jean Monnet + meals)
$6,995 (Shared Homestay Option)
Final Payment date:

The AIFS program fee pays for the living accommodations and an extensive weekly program of subsidized cultural and social activities.

Apartment accommodations at the FIAP: student housing in twin-bedded rooms with bathrooms and daily cleaning service at the FIAP "Jean Monnet," including seven breakfasts per week and five lunches or dinners Monday through Friday at FIAP while classes meet.

Shared apartments – student housing in self-catering apartments in twin-bedded studios including a set amount of utilities.

Additional costs are involved for the optional, round trip transatlantic airfare between the U.S. and Europe, and transfer between the airport and the program site on specified program date(s) for $650; mandatory additional U.S. government and airline imposed departure taxes and fees of $195 tour/$180 non-tour (subject to change); optional five-day/four-night orientation tour of Europe for $705.

There is a required $250 refundable damage deposit, and students are responsible for meals other than home stay breakfasts as specified above, textbooks, passport and visa fees and other personal living expenses. Students should plan on having at least $1,800 in spending money to cover expenses beyond enrollment fees, the AIFS program fee, and plane tickets.

Many students may be eligible for financial aid (Grants and/or loans) to assist them in paying the cost of their London Semester educational program. Early application for Financial aid is essential as processing can take up to twelve weeks. Students interested in financial Aid should contact:

AIFS Transportation Package - $795

Students have the option of purchasing a round-trip ticket for the group flight arranged through AIFS. Students choosing this option should note the following restrictions: Tickets purchased from AIFS are exclusively on scheduled airlines (not charters). They are not endorsable to another carrier. Flights are not necessarily direct or non-stop, and frequent flyer miles are not applicable. The AIFS transportation Package includes your ground transportation from the airport in Europe to your accommodations on the regularly scheduled program dates. AIFS will book flights on the dates indicated on this application or you may choose an alternate return date (see the attached Flight Sign-Up Sheet). Participants who choose an alternate return date are responsible for their transfer from their accommodations to the airport.

AIFS will not make your flight arrangements for you unless you clearly indicate your travel preferences on your application and flight Sign-Up Sheet.

When is Fee Payment Due?

The AIFS registration fee ($50) and enrollment deposit ($400) are due with the application. The AIFS fee balance is due by the AIFS' final payment date along with the optional AIFS airfare if chosen. Credit cards are accepted for fee payment.

Community College enrollment fees must be paid at the time of registration before departure; credit cards or checks only.
