Student Trustee

Brandon Amargo was born in Berkeley, and currently resides in El Sobrante. He is Contra Costa Community College District's Student Trustee for 2010-2011 and a student at Contra Costa College. Brandon is a National Certified Student Leader and has served as Senator with the Associated Students Union at CCC.

He is currently a member of the District's Measure A Bond Oversight Committee as well as a member of the Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society at CCC. This past summer, Brandon attended a grand strategy, leadership and advocacy skills program at Yale University. As Student Trustee, he hopes to apply what he learned at Yale.

Brandon will ensure, to the best of his ability, that the District's student body has a strong, informed and clear voice at the Student Trustee Advisory Council and Governing Board meetings.
