Training and Development
The Training and Development unit of the District Human Resources Department serves a role in promoting the
professional development of all Contra Costa Community College District employees through various training programs
and developmental educational incentives.
To provide appropriate opportunities for meaningful personal and professional development, the Training and Development
unit oversees the processes for allocating staff development resources Districtwide and coordinates various individual and
institutional professional growth programs. Training and Development programs may include New Employee Orientation,
Great Teacher's Seminar, JobLinks, professional conferences, individual staff development classes, seminars, personal
health and safety issues in the work place, diversity and teaching and learning topics.
